ConsoMedix Group is offering a unique opportunity for a Livestock Management Intern to gain practical experience in the care, monitoring, and management of farm animals. This internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to modern livestock practices, animal health, welfare management, and sustainable agricultural techniques while working alongside experienced farm coordinators.
Role Responsibilities :
- Assist in the daily feeding, watering, and general care of livestock.
- Monitor animal health and report any signs of illness or unusual behavior to supervisors.
- Support in maintaining livestock housing, pens, and grazing areas to ensure hygiene and safety standards.
- Learn and apply biosecurity practices to prevent disease and maintain herd health.
- Participate in record-keeping related to breeding, growth, and productivity of animals.
- Assist in vaccination, deworming, and other veterinary-related activities under supervision.
- Gain exposure to farm management systems and livestock productivity tracking tools.
